AICRP-M contucted training program on mushroom at Trich kupwara in collaboration with kvk-kupwara

A traning programme under All india coordinated Research Project (AICRP-M) on mushroom was contucted at Trich kupwara in collaboration with kvk-kupwara. 
More then 30 youths majority of which was girls participated in the programme. The programme was  conducted with the aim to popularize mushroom cultivation with special focus on oyster mushroom cultivation the programme started with welcome adress by Dr firdous Raina. Dr tariq ahmad sofi principal anvestigator (Aicrip-M) and incharge mashroom reserch and tranning centre Division of plant pathology Skuast_K delivered expert talk on mashroom cultivation. Dr kaiser Malik Head KVK kupwara deliverd A motivational speech and heighlited the activites of KVK kupwara . later Dr Tariq ahmad sofi demonastrated the spwaning and bag filling of oyater Mashroom. Two demonastration trails were laid at tirich and Bohipora kupwara. Dr. Tariq ahmad Sofi along with Dr firdous Raina visted some of the mashroom growers for diagonistic purpose. The programme ended with a vote of thanks By Dr Firdous Raina. Earlier such programmes were also conducted in collaboration with KVK Kulgam, KVK Pulwama and  KVK Ganderbal.

Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan commences at SDH Kupwara Shakir bhat Kupwara, 17 Sep:  Month long Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan Commenced in SDH Kupwara today with multifarious activities and awareness campaigns held on day one throughout the district. Mega awareness rally on Drug Abuse was flagged-off by the Medical Superintendent SDH Kupwara Dr Ab Gani, Afhc  Councilor  Miss Shabnum Ara, SDH Kupwara  Doctors, SDH Paramedic Staff, SDH Students along NGOs besides citizens participated.
