Sofi Irfan visited Handwara  Constituency. 
Handwara Jan 04: J&K People’s Demicratic Party Senior Leader & Constituency Head Handwara Irfan Sofi visited Handwara constituency  in District Kupwara  essentially to make social visits and offer condolences to the families of the deceased at a number of places, a press release said.

During his visit, Sofi expressed his deepest sympathies and offered his unwavering support to the families during these difficult times. 

Sofi also met many of his party workers and discussed with them the upcoming  program of death anniversary  of Pdp founder Late Mufti Mohammed Syed on 7th and directed them to participate  in bulk.

Two LeT militants held in Sopore along with arms and ammunition: police Police on Wednesday said that they have arrested two LeT militants along with arms and ammunition in Sopore area of north kashmir's Baramulla district. Police in a statement said that, on 21st September, on the basis of a reliable information  about the presence of militants belonging to prescribed militants organization LeT at the village Botingoo a joint CASO was launched by Sopore Police alongwith 22 RR, 179 BN CRPF, Det Marcos and the area was cordoned-off and subsequently search was started. During  search, 02 persons within the cordoned area in an orchard were found in a suspicious condition and were apprehended on spot who revealed their names as: 1.
