To empower local communities and enhance awareness about various government schemes, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra camp was successfully held at the Public Park Langate organised by Municipal Committee Langate on December 27. During the event, Tehslildar Langate, EO Langate, BMO Langate, DO Langate, Ex MC Langate Adv Shahnaeaz, Ex Vice Chairman Jameel Rather and various officers and officials from diverse departments, including Health and Family Welfare, National Health Mission, Housing and Urban Development, National Rural Livelihood Mission, Social and Tribal Welfare, J&K Bank, SBI, and others provided on-spot services related to a multitude of schemes aimed at benefiting the local population. The performance centered around the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana- Urban (PMAY-U) and PM Street Vendor’s Atma Nirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) which served as an effective medium to educate the audience about the significance and benefits of these government initiatives.

A Successful meeting was held at Party Headquarters under the presidentship of Raquib ul Rashid & General Secretary Dr. Syed Zahoor Qadri today with regards to numerous issues facing in the Central Kashmir Division for expansion & Coordination of Party base in the area. Later the pledge was taken by all the JKAADP members of Central Kashmir that the party will be strengthen at the base n various decision with regard to the up coming elections were taken into count aswell.

Handwara  10 October 2022. Continuing its efforts against drug peddling, Handwara Police arrested three peddlers and recovered narcotics in Handwara area.  Today a police party of Police Station Handwara, while on naka duty  at Kachwari  Handwara, apprehended three persons who had attempted to evade the police party in a suspicious manner.  On search, around 29 grams of Heroin like substance was recovered from their possession. The persons have been identified as  Javid Ahmad Sofi S/o Ab Razak, R/o Khunbal Handwara, Gh Ahmad Mir S/o Ab Khaliq R/o Chanjmulla Zachaldara &  Haroon Ahmad Reshi S/o Gh Mohi Din R/o Warpora Zachaldara In relation to this, FIR No. 266/2022 U/s 8/21 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Handwara and investigation has been initiated.
